Description

At 40 years old, this male argentinosaurus has had numerous violent encounters with predators attempting to predate on him throughout his youth. Yet no matter how hard his attackers tried, they could never slay him. This is part of the hardship that his kind have to endure during their young lives and many don’t make it to his age.
At a safe distance, a trio of baby argentinosaurus look upon the adult dinosaur in awe and envy. These three siblings have little awareness that what they’re looking at is the cruel harshness that awaits them in their adult lives.

This piece of paleoart was inspired by the USS Nevada ship during WWII, or nicknamed “Nevo” by the Japanese. It was the most feared battle cruiser to the Japanese because it was in their words “the ship they could not sink”.
