Description

A crow shark (Squalicorax falcatus) has found a dead styxosaurus, already partially scavenged by other sharks. She feasts on the blubbery hide of the plesiosaur in order to replenish her fat reserves. She grabs as many mouthfuls as she can before the more dominant Ginsu Shark (lower right) takes his turn.
A nearby protostega (upper left) makes the most out of the fish shoals that are attracted by the fatty oils coming from the dead plesiosaur.
